From the whole X-series from BMW, the X4 is the only one to have received a 2018 edition update so far. US Sales: Until October of 2017, BMW X4 sold around 4,119 units in the US. The previous year, BMW sold a total of 4,989 X4 vehicles across the US.
Canada Sales: Until October of 2017, BMW X4 sold 1,054 vehicles in Canada. In 2016, it had sold a total of 1,236 units.
2018 Model Main Features
The 2018 BMW X4 is designed to combine the aesthetics of a coupe with the dynamic design of the BMW X Series models. Here are the main features:

Performance: The 28i model contains an inline 4-cylinder 2.0-liter TwinPower Turbo engine. The 240-hp engine generates 258 lb-ft of torque at 1450 rpm. It can accelerate 0-100 km/h in 6.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 210 km/h. The xDrive, BMW’s all-wheel-drive system, provide traction and dynamic stability on rough terrains.

Main Submodel Differences
Besides the xDrive28i, the 2018 BMW X4 also has the xDrive35i model. The xDrive35i is a beefier version of the xDrive28i model. It has a 6-cylinder 3.0-liter 300-hp engine that can deliver a maximum torque of 300 lb-ft and can speed up from 0-100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
