Jaguar brand is sold by Jaguar Land Rover Canada ULC. It is a subsidiary of Jaguar Land Rover Limited since March of 2014. The company is headquartered in Mississauga, Canada. Currently, it has 25 retail stores and is planning to add seven more by 2019. The company provides sales, distribution, marketing, and servicing of vehicles.

Jaguar started its journey in 1922 as a maker of motorcycle sidecars in the United Kingdom. It was called the Swallow Sidecar Company. Later it began building cars and changed its name to Jaguar after World War II. One of its first successes was the XK120. In the 1950s, Jaguar made its reputation on the motorsport circuit with cars like C-type, D-type and then E-type. Jaguar merged with BMC (British Corporation) in 1968. BMC later became part of British Leyland. Ford bought Jaguar in 1989 and later in 2000; Land Rover joined Jaguar under Ford. Then Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile company, bought Jaguar and Land Rover and merged the two companies as "Jaguar Land Rover." Today Jaguar brand is recognized for luxury sedans and SUVs like XE, XF, XJ, E-Pace, F-Pace, and F-Type.
