I've been talking about the Atlas a lot in the last couple of months. The thing is that it is, by far, the best option available in the market so far for a 7 Seater SUV., making it run away from the dealers as fast as the factory in Tennesee send these out. In fact, factory order lines are up to April, and half the models are arriving in January to the dealers in the Montreal area, are already sold. Want to know why? The Volkswagen Atlas Canada demand is speeding up fast and here are the best reviews out there.
Volkswagen Atlas Canada vs U.S. Submodels
For a better understanding of the editions mentioned in the videos, it is important to note first the relation between the Canadian codename and the U.S one:
- United States "S" - Canada "Trendline" (MSRP $35,690 CAD)
- United States "SE" - Canada "Comfortline" (MSRP $39,690 CAD)
- United States "SEL" - Canada "Highline" (MSRP $48,990 CAD)
- United States "SEL Premium" - Canada "Excecline" (MSRP $52,540 CAD)
The Atlas rolls out of the dealerships almost before arriving. Only in 2017, since it was released in June, 4,500 units were sold.
The StraightPipes (2019 Edition)
"Alex on Autos" (4K UHD)
Alex makes some of the most detailed reviews in the market. Usually, above the 20 mins and under 30, his Atlas review is detailed and comparative enough for backing you up with a big set of answers you may have for a new model like this.
Chris from "CarGurus"
Christian Wardlaw is a very charismatic presenter and goes directly to the driving experience, spacing, and details that make the Atlas "his new favorite mid-size SUV or almost Full-size SUV."
Kyle Lindsey from "SaabKyle04"
Kyle does an excellent review, specifically about the dimensions, technical details and also about the driving experience of the vehicle.
Andre from "The Fast Lane Car"
Andre Smirnov doesn't go straight to specifications. He addresses what he calls the "Top 10 Most Unexpected Surprises" in a fascinating and "amazing features" way.
